HALLOWEEN ART

I'm working on a Halloween poster and this is an idea that I like but doesn't really work for the project. Should someone out there like to use this, let me know.

ARMY OF SNOOPY

Every year CVS (the drugstore) sells these great little toys of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang at Halloween. I have decided that I must create an army of Snoopy's because I love them and they make me happy. I figure the more the merrier.

When I paint commissions for others, I usually paint smaller pieces on the side so I don't waste paint. Here are some of those extra paintings.

the paint is still wet on this guy. This will be my last pet portrait for a few months while I work on some other creative endeavors. What a great dog to finish with.

LAUREL HILL MURAL COMPLETE

I finally saw the mural for Laurel Hill Elementary fully assembled and hanging. It looks great. These photos don't capture the vibrant colors. It was a difficult thing to paint in our dinky apartment but looks fanatstic.

JOHN ANCRUM SPCA FURRY AFFAIR EXHIBITION

There is a new exhibition of pet art at the Charleston Gallery opening this Thursday. The art will be auctioned off at the Furry Affair gala on Friday NIght, August 25. I will be there if you want to say hello and I will have 4 pieces (see below) for auction as well as posters for sale. All proceeds go to the JA SPCA.
